Aa. Gippius et al., Quadrupole effects and electron-phonon interaction in the non-equilibrium superconductors Al1-xSix, J PHYS-COND, 12(43), 2000, pp. 9167-9178
Al-27 NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) spectra and the spin-lattice relaxat
ion were measured for the non-equilibrium Al-based superconductors Al1-xSx
(x = 0, 0.02, 0.05, 0.06 and 0.08) in the temperature range 2-300 K. The NM
R data confirm a substantial enhancement of the electron-phonon interaction
in the vicinity of the FCC (face-centred cubic) lattice instability in the
se model superconductors. The observed quadrupole effects can be interprete
d in terms of a substantial distortion and disordering of the Al-based FCC
lattice.
