Space constancy was investigated in seven blindfolded left-neglect pat
ients by driving them along routes involving one or two, left or right
, 90 degrees turns. At the end of each route patients had to indicate
its starting point while still blindfolded. On average, no considerabl
e left/right differences were found in pointing accuracy. The entailme
nts of this finding for the understanding of neglect phenomena are bri
efly discussed.
