Several oilfield, geological and physical factors have been identified. The
y serve to provide more grounds for bottomhole treatment performance using
various acid compounds. The paper shows impacts of oil flowrate, water cut,
well killing count prior to treatment, formation stratification and sand c
ontent, porosity ratio, permeability, and oil saturation, on treatment resu
lts. The paper identifies most effective applications for salt- and clay-ba
sed treatment methods, along with feasibility of nonionic surfactants and o
il-wetting agents.
