Abstract
Reviewed ore several most frequently applicated methods of acoustic velocit y determination in annulus gas. Presented is a comparative evaluation of ob tained results. Authors developed a portable device "Resonance", enabling t o conduct high accuracy measurements of acoustic velocity in annulus gas of production wells. Presented are its technical parameters.
