Current versus voltage (I- V) measurements of an epitaxial superconducting
Bi2Sr2-xLaxCuO6+delta thin film have been made in magnetic fields parallel
to its c axis. The curvature variations of the I-V isotherms have been anal
yzed using both two-dimensional (2D) and quasi-2D scaling laws. The tempera
ture dependence of the vortex glass transition line is presented and confir
med the quasi-2D characteristics of the vortex matter in the Bi-2201 materi
al. A phenomenological driving force relation has been derived.
