The Cu-63 spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T-1 in UCu3.5Pd1.5 has been determ
ined at frequencies 38 MHz less than or equal to v(0) less than or equal to
101 MHz and for temperatures 0.4 K less than or equal to T less than or eq
ual to 100 K. UCu3.5Pd1.5 was one of the first compounds revealing non-Ferm
i-liquid behavior which was explained in terms of a distribution of Kondo t
emperatures T-K. In contrast to the broad distribution of single Kondo impu
rity temperatures T-K, which accounted for the bulk susceptibility X(H,T),
such a distribution P(T-K) does not describe the results of our Cu-63-NMR e
xperiments performed at high applied external fields H-0 greater than or eq
ual to 51 kOe.
