The relaxation transitions in gels based on star-shaped block copolymers of
butadiene and styrene were studied by the method of DSC. The effects of th
e content and selectivity of a plasticizing agent on the relaxation transit
ion temperatures and the concomitant changes in heat capacity DeltaC(p) wer
e characterized. The two-phase structure of gels was proven. The segmental
mobility of polymer chains in the vicinity of the interfacial polystyrene d
omain-polybutadiene matrix boundary was found to be different from the mobi
lity of segments within the volume of phases.
