Abstract
The synthesis of a polymer supported chiral oxazolidine aldehyde is describ ed. This intermediate has great potential for the synthesis of biologically interesting compounds. A solid phase stereoselective synthesis of an array of chirally pure S-lactams in high purity is described as a first applicat ion of the system. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
