The elastic arm method is applied to track reconstruction in a scintil
lating fiber tracker for use in future detectors (LEP II, LHC). Raw da
ta were pre-processed to produce microvectors which will constitute th
e input to the elastic arm algorithm. Results show good track reconstr
uction over 100 events and covering more than one thousand tracks.
