Abstract
An overview is given about the most common immunological methods for the di agnosis of bovine tuberculosis. These methods are based on cell mediated im mune reactions on the one hand (intradermal skin test, interferon-gamma -te st, lymphocyte transformation test) or on antibody production against Mycob acterium bovis on the other hand (ELISA). The advantages and disadvantages of the methods as well as their specificity and sensitivity are discussed.
