Abstract
Mycoplasmal conjunctivitis is an emerging disease of wild house finches and other songbirds. This article provides background information on the epide miology of mycoplasmal conjunctivitis gathered through a unique collaborati on of veterinarians, ornithologists, and concerned citizens. The relevance of this disease to the recognition and treatment of mycoplasmal diseases in companion birds is also discussed.
