Abstract
Examination of the wealth distribution of total organic carbon in the burie d Palaeozoic rocks richness in the Qasbat-Tadla basin, shows the existence of several anoxic events. These crisis events testify to the establishment of favourable reducing physico-chemical conditions and to the accumulation and preservation of high quantities of organic matter with good primary pro duction, during the Palaeozoic.
