Neuronal and glial cell biology

Here, we review progress in our understanding of neuronal and glial cell bi ology during the past ten years, with an emphasis on glial cell fate specif ication, apoptosis, the cytoskeleton, neuronal polarity, synaptic vesicle r ecycling and targeting, regulation of the cytoskeleton by extracellular sig nals, and neuron-glia interactions.
