Abstract
A simple but powerful method of removing stimulation artefact from voluntar y electromyogram (EMG) is presented. By using a fast digital signal process or the underling voluntary EMG from stimulated muscle can be extracted in r eal time. This is then processed to form a control signal to effect the sti mulation amplitude.
