Abstract
A new method is proposed for DOA estimation in the presence of unknown corr elated noise fields when the array is linear with equispaced sensors. The p roposed method, which employs the modified covariance differencing techniqu e, can efficiently eliminate the effects of correlated noise on the array e igenstructure. The performance of this method is examined using simulations .
