Abstract
An objective measure of speech quality over a Voice over Internet Protocol link is investigated, in which conventional diagnostic rhyme test (DRT) ass essment using human listeners is-replaced by automatic recognition of DRT d ata. Results are presented for two speech CODECs over a range of packet siz es and loss rates.
