Abstract
In this paper we report peizoelectric properties of modified lead barium ni obate (PBN) with addition of zirconium and bismuth. These are compared with piezoelectric values of modified lead metaniobate marketed by major compan ies. Some modified lead barium lanthanum niobates exhibited a d(33) constan ts as high as 300pc/N.
