Sn. Shtykov et al., Micellar mobile phases for the TLC separation of some transition metal ions and their 1,3-diketonates, J PL CHROM, 13(4), 2000, pp. 266-270
The possibility of using a sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) micellar mobile phas
e (MMP) to separate Cu(II), NI(II), Co(II), Co(III), and Fe(III) ions and t
heir chelates with benzoylacetone and dibenzoylmethane has been examined. S
eparations were performed on plates coated with normal (Silufol) and revers
ed-phase (Plazmachrom) adsorbents and a 2.5 x 10(-2) M solution of SDS as M
MP, The main chromatographic characteristics of the metal ions and the chel
ates and conditions for separation of mixtures of the metal ions and their
chelates were determined.
