Abstract
Sm-153-DTPA provides a suitable alternative to Tc-99m-DTPA and In-111- DTPA as a water soluble tracer for the evaluation of pharmaceutical pr eparations. The chelate was handled biologically in a similar way to T c-99m-DTPA and In-111-DTPA. The chelate can be incorporated into the f ormulation as a non-radioactive excipient and the intact dosage form c an then be neutron activated to produce Sm-153.
