Chromophores for polymeric photorefractive composites

A series of NLO chromophores based on alkylamine-substituted Indole ring we re synthesized by varying the strength of electron-acceptor. Photorefractiv e composites consisted of carbazole-substituted polysiloxane as photoconduc ting host, doped with prepared NLO molecules and photosensitizer. Electro-o ptic and photorefractive properties of composites were discussed.
