Mm. Coimbra et al., AMS-C-14 measurements for the carbonate platform of the Offshore Campos Basin, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, NUCL INST B, 172, 2000, pp. 589-591
As part of our accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) program in Brazil we pre
pared and measured some red algae carbonate crust samples from Campos Basin
, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The measurements were performed at Purdue Rare Is
otope Measurement Laboratory (PRIME Lab), Purdue University, IN, USA. This
carbonate material is interlaminated with foraminiferal lime mud reflecting
recurrent intervals of carbonate development, which might be linked to out
er-shelf oceanographic circulation. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All righ
