Abstract
The motion of an electron in a uniform magnetic field and positive point ch arge is not integrable. Phase space is often divided between regular region s farther from the positive charge and chaotic regions nearby. As the elect ron transits the chaotic region, intermittent chaotic behavior ensues. An a nalytic method to estimate the location of the transit parameters is also d eveloped.
