Abstract
The unshunted SQUID is a magnetic flux sensor, whose Josephson junctio ns are damped in a novel way. We have studied its dynamics with noise sources by numerical simulation, results suggest that its energy resol ution is at least 2 times better than that of a conventional dc SQUID.
