Abstract
X-ray diffraction measurements of lattice parameters and measurements of El ectrical resistivity and thermal expansion of the intermetallic compound Mn Pd of composition close to equiatomic (45.8 at. % Mn) were performed in a t emperature range of 20-1100 degreesC. The behavior of these characteristics of the alloy near the Neel temperature (T-N approximate to 540 degreesC) a nd in the region of the B2 reversible arrow L1(0) structural transformation (900-1100 degreesC) was studied. The phase diagram of the Mn-Pd alloys in the vicinity of the equiatomic composition is discussed.
