Nototriton stuarti, a new species of salamander belonging to the tribe Boli
toglossini, family Plethodontidae, is described from the Montanas del Mice,
north of the Motagua Valley, in eastern Guatemala. The species is geograph

riton barbouri, which occurs in northwestern Honduras.
