Isobaric vapour-liquid equilibrium data for the binary systems formed by te
trahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, 2-methyl-tetrahydrofuran, and 2,5-dimethyl-
tetrahydrofuran with chlorocyclohexane have been measured at 40.0 and 101.3
kPa using a dynamic recirculating still. All experimental data were checke
d for thermodynamic consistency by means of the Van Ness method. The system
s studied present slightly deviations from ideal behaviour. None of them sh
ow azeotrope. The VLE data have been satisfactorily correlated with the equ
ations of Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC. Predictions with the ASOG and UNIFAC gr
