Abstract
This review covers studies related to the fate of pollutants in natura l surface waters including surveys of contamination, assessment of pol lutant sources, measurement of reaction kinetics, and modeling and ana lysis of aquatic ecosystems. Sections are provided on acidification an d humic substances, metals, nutrients, pathogens, and xenobiotic organ ics.
