Abstract
Calyceal diverticula are usually asymptomatic intrarenal anatomical aberrat ions, unless they become a source of recurrent hematuria or manifest as pai n related to stones within. Various treatment options exist, ranging from n oninvasive shock wave lithotripsy (SWL) to percutaneous or laparoscopic pro cedures. Ureter-renoscopic retrograde techniques, in selected cases, offer the efficacy of intracorporeal lithotripsy and also address the primary ana tomical problem, while having less morbidity than percutaneous or laparosco pic approaches.
