Treatment of the spacer modified glucose derivative 1 with diethylaminotrim
ethylsilane furnished the bis-silylated molecule 2. Reaction of 2 with two
equivalents of the phosphorus compounds 3, 4, and 5 led to the spacer phosp
horylated glucosyl derivatives 6, 7 and 8. Complexation of 6 with (COD)PtCl
2 gave complex 9; the cis-conformation of 9 could be confirmed by P-31 NMR
investigations.
