Abstract
We apply the P-3(0) model to the strong decay of a meson into two mesons. W e modify the traditional vertex by allowing a momentum and flavor dependent form. Moreover the meson wave functions are obtained using realistic quark -antiquark potentials including finite size for the quarks, instanton effec ts, spin-orbit and tensor forces. The results are in very good agreement wi th the data.
