Abstract
Caecorectal anastomosis by Deloyers' procedure has the disadvantage of crea ting torsion of the vascular pedicle. The technique reported here is a simp le mechanical antiperistaltic anastomosis without inversion of the caecum. This technique was performed successfully in 26 patients after subtotal col ectomy for multiple colonic carcinomas or severe constipation. (C) 2000 Edi tions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
