Elements for the generic taxonomy of the Mirinae part XIII - Review of theAsian mirine genus Tolongia (Heteroptera : Miridae)

The mirine plant bug genus Tolongia Poppius, 1915 is redefined. The followi ng new synonymies are established: Tolongia Poppius, 1915 = Gressittmiris C arvalho, 1988, syn, n. = Exopantilius Yasunaga, 1991, syn. n, A new species , I: kerzhneri, from Indonesia and Malaysia is described. The redescription of the external morphology and the description of the genital structures f or both sexes of T. marginicollis Poppius, 1915 are also given. The genital ia of the male of T. pilosa (Yasunaga, 1991), comb n. are redescribed, and those of the female are described; this species is newly recorded from Indi a. The male genitalia of T. gressitri (Carvalho, 1988), comb. n. are partia lly redescribed. A key is provided to distinguish the four known species, a nd the relationships of Tolongia are briefly discussed.
