One new and four known species belonging to the family Tripylidae are descr
ibed and illustrated, Tripyla koreana sp. nor: is characterized by its smal
l size (L = 0.93-1.06 mm), short outer labial (2-3 mum) and cephalic (1 mum
) sensillae, large and wedge shaped dorsal tooth, shape of tail which taper
s in anterior part, than becomes cylindrical. Tripyla glomerans Bastian, 18
65, Tripyla infia Brzeski et Winiszewska-Slipinska, 1993 and Tripylina aren
icola (de Man, 1880) were recorded for the first time from the Korean Penin
sula.
