Abstract
Polycrystalline samples of TINaWO4 ceramics have been prepared by conv entional solid-state reaction technique at low temperature (600 degree s C). Preliminary, room temperature X-ray studies suggest the formatio n of single phase desired compound with cell parameters a = 10.3257 An gstrom, b = 11.1268 Angstrom and c = 16.1951 Angstrom in the orthorhom bic crystal structure. Detailed studies of dielectric constant (epsilo n) and loss (tan delta) as a function of frequency and temperature sug gest that the compound undergoes two successive phase transitions at 1 0 degrees C and 60 degrees C.
