Abstract
The article surveys the potential advantages of cationic celluloses, which may be used in paper manufacturing. Fibrous materials such as groundwood (b eated up 57 degrees SR), recycled pulp of DIP character (beated up 23 degre es SR), bleached sulphate pulp of different refining levels (14, 29, 45, 64 degrees SR), bleached sulphite pulp (38 degrees SR), dyes as Rybacel yello w E-3GF (dye of direct character, C.I 132), Spoloxyl red (dye of pigment ch aracter, C.I. 2) and Chrysoidin R (dye of basic character, C.I. 11320) were used in the experiments.
