Metastases from colorectal carcinoma usually spread along abdominal lymph n
odes or are hematogenous to the liver or lungs. So far, 13 cases of metasta
ses to skeletal muscle have been described. In the following report, the ca
se of a 72-year-old woman with a colonic carcinoma and metastases of this t
umor in the thigh is described. Other reports about muscular metastases of
colorectal tumors are discussed.
