Abstract
A new linearization technique of the multitail transconductor is presented. In this technique, the parameter conditions for the maximally flat transco nductance are easily obtained by comparing the coefficients of denominator and numerator of an output current expanded into a polynomial function usin g a Taylor expansion. In this paper, linearized transconductors with two, t hree, and four emitter-coupled pairs are described and discussed. SPICE sim ulation results show that the total harmonic distortion is less than, 1% fo r an input signal of 1 Vp-p at 100 kHz. (C) 2000 Scripta Technica.
