Abstract
We report our experience on survival of adults with AIDS, treated at the Un iversity Hospital of Infectious Diseases, Zagreb, Croatia from October 1986 to December 1998. The median survival of our 116 patients was 15.8 months. Multivariate analysis showed that factors independently associated with su rvival were type of presenting AIDS indicator disease and CD4(+) cell count .
