Abstract
Chemical transformations occurring in distilled water and aqueous phenol so lutions during treatment with an oxygen plasma jet were experimentally stud ied. The phenol conversion by plasma treatment of its aqueous solutions was found to be mainly due to reactions involving free radicals.
