Abstract
In this paper, a method available for accurate measurements of lossy liquid s is presented, tested on standard materials, and compared with the perturb ation technique commonly adopted in cavity measurements. The method is base d on numerical solving a complex characteristic equation. Realization of th e method was done using an E-010 cylindrical cavity, Results show that meas urement errors may be decreased with application of the method presented. T he method ex-eludes uncertainties in complex permittivity determination whe n material has losses and high permittivity.
