Abstract
In this Letter, the authors describe an innovative application of radar int erferometric techniques aimed to monitor structural deformations of buildin gs. The proposed application is based on the use of ground-based instrument ation able to operate as Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR). Preliminary experimental results on a model of an historical building encou rage the development of this technique for use in architectural heritage su rvey.
