Densities and viscosities of binary mixtures of butanenitrile with butanolisomers at several temperatures

Densities and viscosities of butanenitrile + 1-butanol, + 2-methyl-1-propan ol, + 2-butanol, or + 2-methyl-2-propanol were measured at several temperat ures between 288.15 K and 318.15 K. At each temperature, the experimental v iscosity data were correlated by means of the McAllister biparametric equat ion. By using our previous thermodynamic measurements (VLE, H-E), We have t ested the Wei and Rowley nonparametric model, at T = 298.15 K, obtaining av erage absolute deviations which are comparable to those calculated for the biparametric model.
