Understanding the retention of Latino College students

In this qualitative study, the researcher explored the retention of 10 Lati no college students, particularly how their experiences and environmental f actors contributed to their persistence. The participants ranged in age fro m 21 to 25 years and included 5 men and 5 women. The findings include 11 ma jor categories or themes. Implications for practice are discussed.
