Abstract
Structural change of OH-free fused quartz tube by blowing with hydrogen-oxy gen flame was investigated by optical adsorption. The blowing increased the OH content within less than or similar to 500 mum from the surface, The ma ximum OH content was ca, 1100 ppm.
