Abstract
Micromixing models usually assume an identical mixing time for all species involved in reactions. The mixing times are, however, dependent upon the mo lecular diffusivities of reactive species, which in general are different f or each species. We discussed in this study the effects of variable mixing times on the Oregonator model in an incompletely micromixed stirred tank. A three-dimensional bifurcation diagram is constructed on the basis of numer ical simulations. Non-identical mixing times of different species provide e xtra bifurcation parameters of system dynamics of Oregonator model.
