Abstract
The cross section of diffractive J/Psi lepto- (and photo-) production on a polarized target is calculated in the leading log approximation o f pQCD assuming a nonrelativistic J/Psi wave function. In this approxi mation the spin-spin asymmetry in the small x region is close to 2 Del ta G/G for the gamma + p --> J/Psi + p reaction, providing a promisin g tool to study the spin dependent gluon distribution Delta G(x, q(2)) .
