Abstract
Isthemic peripheral neuropathy is a frequent, severe and irreversible compl ication of critical limb ischemia. Therapeutic angiogenesis may ameliorate vascular insufficiency and may also provide direct beneficial effects on ne ural integrity, indicating a new paradigm for the treatment of neuronal dis orders (pages 405-413).
