Abstract
A catalytic asymmetric [4 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of a vinylallene with buta-1,3-diene was developed in which a palladium complex modified by a fe rrocene-derived chiral monophosphine ligand acted as a template transferrin g chirality to the product.
