Abstract
Treatment of a dichloromethane solution of (BuCP)-C-t, containing a catalyt ic amount of TiCl4, with an excess of the primary amines RNH2 (R = Pr-i, Bu -t) quantitatively affords the corresponding bis-dialkylaminophosphine P((B uNH)-N-t)(2)- CH2But. P((PrNH)-N-i)(2)CH2But is structurally characterised by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study of its bis-trans-PdCl2 complex.
