Abstract
We calculate exactly by field theoretical techniques the second topological moment (m(2)) of entanglement of two closed polymers P-1 and P-2. This res ult is used to estimate approximately the mean square average of the Linkin g number of a polymer P-1 in solution with other polymers. (C) 2000 Elsevie r Science B.V. All rights reserved.
